Introduction to CTA Basic Interpretation

Welcome to our Introduction to Cardiac CT Basic Interpretation Online Course. 

This course will teach you the fundamentals of Cardiac CT Interpretation utilizing the PLC-ZioTerm software package from Ziosoft.  Our videos demonstrations will take you through: how to load a study into the visualization software; how to manipulate the images in 3D,MIP and MPR; basic navigation through the arteries and non-coronary structures; evaluation of LV function; and evaluation of multiple cardiac phases. 

Once you are familiar with how to use the software package, you can practice image manipulation with the seven cases provided. (The demonstration cases are available on a DVD distributed without cost at the ZioSoft booth at the ESC and RSNA annual meetings.  If you have not obtained a copy of the DVD with the demonstration case dicom files, we are happy to send you a copy of the DVD upon registration for this course.  If you need a copy of the DVD please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. To view and manipulate the demonstration cases you can download the free copy of Zioterm.  To download this program, CLICK HERE. This version of ZioTerm will allow you to get started right away with hands-on image manipulation.  Upon registration for this course you will receive an email directing you to another link where you will be able to download the PLC-ZioTerm version.  This version of the software provides enhanced navigation and manipulation functions.
