This 2-day course is an intensive and hands-on program to update your CTA skills and help you maintain your ACCF/AHA Level II credentials. Courses are offered on Friday / Saturday to minimize the time away from your office. Participants receive individualized instruction on 3-D workstations manipulating and interpreting 50 or more contrast and non-contrast studies. The course is also designed to fulfill the CBCCT requirement for 50 cases in the 12 months preceding the CTA Board Exam.

This course is particularly valuable for radiologists looking for a training program that combines interpretive technique with a discussion of cardiac diagnosis and pathophysiology.

Participants will have direct, hands-on experience manipulating and interpretting cases with no more than 2 students per workstation.

Our lecture series complements the workstation training. Topics include New Scan Protocols, Prospectively Gated CTA, Radiation Management and Advanced Reconstruction Techniques.

Dr. Rumberger has published nearly 500 scientific papers and book chapters on Cardiac Imaging and was a pioneer in the development of Coronary Calcium Scans as Professor of Medicine and Consultant in the Department of Cardiovascular Diseases at the Mayo Clinic. Using Dr. Rumberger multi-phase, volume-based CTA interpretation methods, you will learn how to read accurately and completely read a CTA study in just minutes.

Participants will receive documentation that they have performed 50 or more interpretations and a complete patient log.
